Actually, I wonder if Texas Toast was even invented in Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some guy in New Jersey probably sliced some bread extra\u00a0thick one day (this was before they invented sliced bread you see), and his bitchy wife comes along and says, \u201cWhat the hell do you think you\u2019re doing NOW?\u201d And thinking quickly on his feet the guy answers, \u201cMaking Texas Toast!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Because everything\u2019s bigger in Texas, you see. Even my wiener.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then the guy\u2019s brother-in-law who\u2019s actually from<\/em> Texas finds out about it from his<\/em> bitchy wife and he introduces it to his home state acting like it was his own idea all along.
