{"id":506,"date":"2024-06-02T00:01:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-02T00:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.spamrider.net\/?p=506"},"modified":"2024-05-27T12:25:30","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T12:25:30","slug":"reality-or-delusion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.spamrider.net\/index.php\/2024\/06\/02\/reality-or-delusion\/","title":{"rendered":"Reality or Delusion?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I was drinking rum and Djarjar juice with Schmelnoz in the 17th dimension the other night\u2014actually it was technically the 17<sup>5\/8ths<\/sup> dimension, but let\u2019s not split hairs\u2014and he said something that I\u2019ve been thinking about ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said it is well known among most interplanetary species that Earthlings (we may not capitalize it here but for some reason everybody else does) possess a unique ability to believe&nbsp;that which is&nbsp;contrary to the truth whenever the truth itself is too disturbing or distasteful for&nbsp;them to personally condone.&nbsp; Thus, he says in effect our reality becomes delusion and our delusions becomes our reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He says that most all of us are living in delusion, to a greater or lesser extent, in some form or another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This, he claims, makes our species very interesting to interact with, but also very dangerous\u2014mostly to ourselves; but also to others around us as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He apparently could get into a lot of trouble for even hanging out with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s ok.\u00a0 Schmelnoz likes to live life on the edge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was drinking rum and Djarjar juice with Schmelnoz in the 17th dimension the other night\u2014actually it was technically the 175\/8ths dimension, but let\u2019s not split hairs\u2014and he said something that I\u2019ve been thinking about ever since.
