So Schmelnoz and I were hanging out drinking the other night (imagine that), and as he was passing out under my coffee table Schmelnoz kept muttering something about “The God Algorithm”.
The next morning I asked him what the hell he was talking about and all he would tell me was that all the fundamental machinations of humanity are essentially being executed by quantum computer algorithms and that we have no idea the extent to which the algorithms have manifestly crept into our lives, molding our physical environments, arranging our timetables for us, dictating our activities and driving our very thoughts and conversations.
So what’s “The God Algorithm?” I asked him.
At that point he immediately glitched and faded out of Time before my very eyes and I haven’t seen him since.
Now to be fair, he does that sometimes.
But this time…there was just something extra weird about it.
I have a bad feeling about this.
