I was drinking rum and Djarjar juice with Schmelnoz in the 17th dimension the other night—actually it was technically the 175/8ths dimension, but let’s not split hairs—and he said something that I’ve been thinking about ever since.
He said it is well known among most interplanetary species that Earthlings (we may not capitalize it here but for some reason everybody else does) possess a unique ability to believe that which is contrary to the truth whenever the truth itself is too disturbing or distasteful for them to personally condone. Thus, he says in effect our reality becomes delusion and our delusions becomes our reality.
He says that most all of us are living in delusion, to a greater or lesser extent, in some form or another.
Even me.
This, he claims, makes our species very interesting to interact with, but also very dangerous—mostly to ourselves; but also to others around us as well.
He apparently could get into a lot of trouble for even hanging out with me.
That’s ok. Schmelnoz likes to live life on the edge.
